Evolution Gaming to deliver game shows, bonusing and all the classics at ICE
G3 interviews Evolution Gaming’s Amy Riches about the exciting new products vistors can expect at ICE London and the trends heading into the year 2020...
2019 was an extremely busy year for Evolution Gaming, with strong financial growth, industry accolades and new game releases, is this trend set to continue in 2020?
Tis growth is down to the hard work and focus of the 8,000+ people who work for the company. In the product and game creation teams we are not focused on company growth or market share, but instead try and see how we can make the best games for our players. Ten we agonise over every fine detail, listen to each expert who is working on their part of the project, and push for perfection.
If we get it all right, then we enjoy the rewards that come with making a game players love. So, when you ask will this continue into 2020, I think yes, because the current batch of a dozen or so games we are releasing in 2020 are the best games we’ve ever made.
So, Evolution is going to release 12 new games, can you tell us anything about what we will see at ICE in February?
Tis year we are focusing on three themes.
1) Focus on the classic games and ensure their success for the next generation of players
2) Expand the live casino audience with new Game Shows
P136 NEWSWIRE / INTERACTIVE / MARKET DATA
3) Offer a suite of bonusing tools that will help our partners grow.
We will be showcasing our extensive and ever- growing portfolio of Live Casino, Game Show games and unique First Person titles. Our headline game at ICE 2020 is arguably the most fun casino game ever made. I know that’s a super bold statement, but we are aiming to expand our Game Show offering to those who are looking for an entertaining experience, without placing a bet. I am also pretty sure it is the most expensive game ever created in the gaming industry. It is a game show that is loaded with fresh new bonus rounds and side games, more multipliers, and more craziness. We want to make gaming more fun than ever before with this game. Players are drawn to Evolution’s live game shows because they are thoroughly authentic and full of suspense, excitement and entertainment.
We are also releasing Lightning Baccarat, Speed Blackjack, an amazing Craps game, an awesome bouncing ball bingo/lottery style game show, a new very volatile variation of Blackjack, and the rest you will just have to come and see at ICE. I think our partners and players will love what we have in store for 2020!
You mentioned a focus on the classics, how important is it to preserve traditional games in Live Casino and do the 'classics' now need innovation to compete, or are they best left how they are?
Innovation is core to everything we do. We set the bar high and we don’t rest on past achievements and successes. We are constantly looking to push
the boundaries and provide players with the absolute best gaming experience possible.
In 2018, the runaway success of Lightning Roulette started the process of innovating on classic table games within Evolution. Te game is an extended Roulette game which integrates advanced RNG technology to offer players a unique experience. Tis game saw significant success both commercially and in player numbers.
At ICE 2020, in addition to the new games in the game show category, Evolution will be showcasing its ever-changing portfolio of classic games. Traditional Live Casino games remain popular player favourites and therefore we will be honouring those games that players know and love, but with unique twists.
