In recent years Dallmeier has invested heavily in research and development with a vision to create innovative operational systems which could in real-time manage different business areas and concepts, giving the operators complete control of all areas of their properties, such as Gaming, Security, Surveillance, Hotel, Retail and Strategic Marketing.
Dallmeier’s Reda Seiliute with President Joe McDevitt Dallmeier lets the CAT out of the bag at G2E 2018
Dallmeier was back at G2E this year showing its Casino Automation Technology (CAT) solution for Black Jack, Facial Recognition, People Tracking and Counting solutions
Te main function of CAT is overall Table Game tracking and real-time Player Rating and thus the system goes far beyond the mere monitoring of the gaming table. Te advanced system, developed by Dallmeier, was created to help casino operators to increase profits, mitigate risks, protect gaming table integrity, streamline operations via real-time data analysis, achieve gaming floor transparency and understand gaming table performance as well as reduce labour costs and minimise human fallibility. All these factors make this product an all-in-one monitoring, tracking, and analysing solution for table gaming.
Dallmeier’s CAT is easy to integrate and install, doesn’t require additional sensors, is not CMS system specific, does not depend on RFID technology (but can be integrated), interfaces and operates with any Smart dealing shoe, uses
Zytronic showing embedded
mechanical controls Zytronic was delivering an industry first at the G2E exhibition in Las Vegas with the demonstration of tactile buttons and dials embedded within the touch area of its touchscreens
In addition to the integrated mechanical capabilities, the company also demonstrated its new ZXY500 touch controller, which has made it possible to also incorporate wireless capabilities such as NFC payment processing and Qi-based wireless mobile phone charging, and in addition enabling near borderless touch display designs.
Ian Crosby, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Zytronic, said: “Players love the tactility of a physical control, particularly for skill based gaming, as well as the flexibility and dynamism of a touchscreen interface. Trough Zytronic’s innovative sensing technology designers can now bring the two experiences completely together, fitting a multitude of tactile buttons or physical dials in the active area of the touchscreen. standard CCTV cameras and is not CCTV system specific. It was also showing a wide offering of its Smart Casino products that can easily be combined or used as individual modules as well as interfaced with third party technologies.
Konrad Hechtbauer, Project & Application Development Director of Dallmeier Electronic, said: “At the beginning of this year we introduced to the market Dallmeier innovative Smart Casino Solutions which had received an extremely positive feedback from casino operators.
After introducing our new concept and product offering to the Asian and European operators, the next step was to present our newly released technologies to the American markets and G2E in Las Vegas gives us a great opportunity and platform to reveal our new products.”
just the latest example of the many ways in which we innovate so that pay-to-play game designers can create designs that are unique and different.”
Zytronic was running a live game on a bespoke interactive table, which features four physical tactile controls located in apertures in the projected capacitive touch surface. Tis capability is a result of Zytronic’s unique manufacturing processes and full control over touch controller design, which allow the touch sensing electrodes to be plotted around the aperture and custom firmware to be created, running on the new ZXY500 touch controller, which together enable full touch functionality around the physical button. Zytronic touch sensors can accommodate a range of different mechanical controls, from a simple push button to place a bet to a dial whose position is detected through the touch sensor.
Zytronic was exhibiting its ZXY500 family of Multitouch controllers at G2E for the first time. Designed specifically for use with Zytronic touch sensors, the ZXY500 achieves exceptional performance and noise immunity on displays up to 85ins. diagonal and beyond, thanks to its high drive signal and proprietary sensing algorithms. As a result, sensors driven through this controller can be
“Security, traceability, overall operations’ management from every angle and aspect and a complete detailed analysis of the obtained data are the key elements building our innovative systems,” Mr. Hechtbauer added. “For years Dallmeier was known worldwide for their advanced surveillance technology and we are now ready to pursue different business opportunities and strategies, aiming to place Dallmeier as a leading strategic partner for the casino operators.”
Tis year has also seen the launch of Dallmeier’s VideoNetBox 3 for small and medium-sized casinos (SMB). Precisely for this target group, which can be configured quickly and simply as a complete video security solution for up to 16 HD video streams.
Te appliance combines the proven SMAVIA recording and analysis software with compact, fanless, energy-efficient server hardware. Te manufacturer’s leading multifocal Panomera systems are also supported. Comprehensive analysis and operating functions ensure that the customer’s security objectives are fulfilled even when setting up complex security solutions.
Te “plug-and-play” approach and excellent energy efficiency reduce cost and complexity. If desired, customers can integrate cameras from third party manufacturers via ONVIF. Perfectly matched hardware-components optimize space requirements and minimize noise while providing excellent passive cooling and power consumption not exceeding 15 Watt. VideoNetBox 3 supports up to 16 HD video streams with a frame rate of up to 30 fps.
compatible with technologies such as RFID, NFC and Qi charging which emit wireless signals that interfere with the operation of conventional projected capacitive touchscreens. Additionally, the new projected capacitive touch controllers enable near borderless touch displays to be developed, creating stunning, slimline player interface designs, and also helping to minimise the ‘footprint’ of game machines – increasingly important on crowded casino floors. Features such as payment through the screen and integrated mobile phone charging stations can now be included in the console, improving convenience for the player and potentially extending their stay at the machine.
