Steve Rogers, CCO Digital Games, Inspired Gaming, said: “As sports-betting and mobile betting opens up across the US, operators will need to get more creative in order to compete and will also look at ways of boosting the number of events players can bet on. Digital players want content delivered constantly, which is where Virtual Sports and Instant Virtual Sports really comes into its own. We launched in Nevada in late 2016; we signed our first US lottery contract for Virtual Sports early in 2017; and last year we launched our new 1st Down Football product. We launched online in New Jersey in November 2017 with Golden Nugget, Caesars Resorts, Rush Street Interactive and Betfair and this year we have the Pennsylvania deal. As more states come on board we’ll deploy more people in more areas but we’re also looking at the VLT market, which would be a huge opportunity for us.”
