Following a strategic assessment of its business portfolio, JACK Entertainment is selling Greektown Casino Hotel for $1bn cash, pending regulatory approval
Penn National is to buy the assets of Greektown for approximately $300m, and VICI Properties will acquire the land and real estate assets of Greektown, for approximately $700m. Dan Gilbert and his family of companies are targeting the capital proceeds from the sale for investment in Detroit real estate and business development.

New Jersey DraftKings Sportsbook to open at Resorts Casino
A second sports book at Resorts Casino Hotel, the first casino hotel in New Jersey, is near completion with the DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts, slated to open by late November 2018, pending approval from the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Te two companies opened an earlier sportsbook in August, but said that one property can run multiple sports books.
