ITASCA, IL — Knowles Precision Devices has released its SV series of capacitor assemblies for power sup- ply filtering applications. The SV series
contains vertically
stacked ceramic capacitors. They are designed to offer greater performance than alu- minum or tantalum electrolytic capacitors, while also helping to reduce the overall PCB foot- print.
The SV series is suited ide-
ally for the input and output stages of switch mode power supplies and DC-DC converters. SV series capacitor assemblies are available in the X7R dielectric with a high capacitance to volume ratio. Low equivalent series resist-
ance (ESR) and low equivalent series inductance (ESL) are inherent in the SV series design, which gives the assemblies the ability to handle high

Push-Pull M12
Connector with Inner Locking from Yamaichi
ASCHHEIM-DORNACH, GERMANY — Yamaichi Electronics has intro- duced its push-pull M12 connector with inner locking, which has been defined by the international standard IEC 61076-2-012. The cable-side connector
engages deep into the device socket from the inside with lock- ing hooks. The push-pull system requires only the same installa- tion space as a common M12 connection with screw locking. With this design, the M12
socket can be inserted complete- ly into the device, e.g. to inte- grate it into a distribution box, aligned flush with its housing. The system is IP65/67 water- and dust- proof and uses independent seals for screw-type or push-pull connectors. The long locking hooks of the
