BTU Offers Vacuum Reflow to Reduce Voiding
NORTH BILLERICA, MA — BTU In- ternational is now offering its PYRA- MAX™ vacuum reflow oven to re- duce the risk of solder voiding in crit- ical applications, such as automotive, aerospace, military, and medical de- vices.
BTU’s vacuum reflow system is
designed with controlled heating in the vacuum chamber, which provides tight control of liquidus time. The oven is aimed at large EMS and high-volume automotive customers. It is configured with 10 zones of closed-loop convection heating and a maximum production width of 18 in. (457 mm).
