PDR technology — 90 kV X-ray, X410 and XT5 rework models, and the E3 series. CSAT chose PDR for several reasons that it believed helped it to differentiate itself in the industry. The company operates in the re-
verse logistics service solutions busi- ness segment, necessitating a high degree of flexibility in the equipment to support a large product and model mix of customers’ PCBs. The compa- ny also runs high volumes of its re- verse operations, so it required a high degree of repeatability machine to machine and location to location. “PDR was able to demonstrate
exceptional process repeatability and high yields, along with machine-to- machine repeatability,” says Mac - ken zie. “Those features have enabled us to launch operations all over the world with the same recipes and processes.”
