Omron Launches Autonomous Materials Transport Robot

RENTON, WA — Omron Automation Americas recently launched its HD- 1500 mobile materials transport robot, designed to handle bulky objects weighing up to 3,300 lb (1,500 kg). This addition to Omron’s robot- ics portfolio comes after the LD-250 mobile robot launch and further expands options for autonomous material transport. Omron’s robots automatically

calculate the best route for material transportation, while navigating safely around people and obstacles without magnetic floor tapes or other guides. This makes them an effective solution for companies seeking to improve flexibility and maximize floor layout options. Omron’s Fleet Manager software controls up to 100 mobile robots of different sizes, con- figurations and payload capacities, so customers can use the HD-1500 together with the LD-60, LD-90 and LD-250 robots in one system. The HD-1500’s powerful struc- ture makes it well-suited for indus-

Smart Sonic Launches Stencil and Pallet Cleaner

CLEVELAND, OH — The ErgoSonic stencil and pallet cleaner from Smart Sonic is a fully automatic and pro- grammable system, recommended for users that require full automa- tion while cleaning fewer than 20 stencils or pallets per day. Front- loading eliminates lifting stencils and baskets over the tall wash tanks and eliminates steps and loading platforms. The operator loads the stencil

into an empty chamber and selects the desired cleaning profile. The wash solution is uploaded to the wash chamber from a built-in reser-

coverage to promote a collaborative and safe working space, and the stop position accuracy of the cell alignment positioning system (CAPS) has also been improved. It even has an

and the cycle is complete. The total wash/rinse cycle time is approxi- mately 10 minutes. The stencil is then removed and placed in an optional drying rack. Stencils are heat-sensitive and should not be
