EASTON, MD — JTAG Technologies has released a completely new edi- tion of its PCB assembly test devel- opment software, JTAG ProVision. Developed in response to customer feed- back by JTAG’s expert design team, the software is designed to further sim- plify the process of testing modern PCB assemblies fitted with miniature com- ponents in highly integrat- ed packages. The software now con-

tains many features to cre- ate a faster, more versatile test system that addresses the needs of test and design engineers through the next decade and beyond. JTAG ProVision is designed to help the user develop, man- ufacture and test electronic products with higher quali- ty, at lower costs and in shorter amounts of time. The latest release enables gen-

eration of reliable and repeatable tests with high fault coverage. DFT tools for initial design assessment and auto test generators are included for rapid deployment of effective structural tests. Structural and func- tional testing can be combined with high-speed device in-system pro- gramming. Test and programming applications can be reused from design debug through to repair.

CableEye

Whether you're an R&D engineer designing cables for a new product or a production worker checking hundreds of cables an hour, CableEye's unique graphic wiring display tells you what you need to know clearly and immediately. Graphically see missing or shorted conductors, miswired cables, reversed diodes, twisted-pair errors, and backward connectors. Print crystal-clear test results including the wiring schematic. Graphically compare two cables by alternating the display between your test result and the ideal cable. Run a high-speed resistance test loop while you flex the cable
