As the end of our East
Cork Senior Open came to an end we had a fantas- tic finals day. The tennis served up was a credit to the players of all grades making it a great and en- joyable occasion for the onlookers and supporters who came in large num- bers.
It was a great honor for
us to have the following present for the presenta- tion of prizes, Cliff Car-
roll President of Tennis Ireland, Martin Leahy President of Munster Branch, Billy Flynn Club President, Brendan Kir- rane Club Chairman and Eileen Bawden our Tour- nament Director. Wayne Fitzpatrick from
Freight Train Ltd was also in attendance.

Chairman spoke about having Keary’s and Freight Train on board as sponsors both have been supporting the club now for many years, he congratulated the winners and indeed thanked all the players who supported the event saying it was the largest to date breaking all records.
He had great words for Eileen our Tournament Director as well as the Kitchen Staff coordinated by Rona Collins, he also praised the BBQ specialist Desiree and Rose and all the volunteers, helpers and home bakers not forgetting the ticket sellers.
