ENRICHMENT Speech and Debate

What is the phobia shared by more people than any other? What is the phobia mentioned as the most terrifying most often? The answer to both questions is public speaking. The introduction to Speech and Debate will introduce students to all of the OSAA competitive events. In performing these, students will develop speaking skills that transfer to all stages of life. Class members who wish to compete interscholastically will learn everything they need from the course to do so, although competition is not a requirement of the course.
