Tree years ago, Ainsworth was practically a market entrant in this region, but year after year and three years later we are now one of the most established and well known companies in the industry and our growth has skyrocketed from around 30 to 65 per cent in Latin America, which is a very good number for a company in LATAM.


We have products sited far and wide, from Mexico to Chile and wherever you go you can see that Ainsworth is firmly established with operators here. Not as much for its cabinets as it used to be because the cabinets have been given a different look but combined with the mathematics this is a really good combination right now and is probably one of the best products in the market.


We are looking forward to entering the Brazilian market. We are ready and we are prepared, we just need to understand certain conditions, such as when the space will be available. Tat said, we already have excellent market share in terms of numbers. In Mexico last year, the gambling market generated around US$4bn and from Mexico alone, while the market generated 44 per cent of our Latin America revenues. We are already really well positioned and we have already proved that we are becoming stronger and stronger in Latin America because of our team, thanks to our maths and because of Ainsworth’s strengh in systems.


Considering that last year was a little down and you didn’t see many companies exhibiting at SGASE, everything has changed with the new government. We now consider Argentina to be a very good market that is going through a positive development phase, which makes it a very good potential market to explore. Argentina is a big market and we still have a lot of work to do, but we are very positive.
