ENCLOSURES With a new partnership and a brand new Endless
Summer range, when it comes to enclosures, Certikin are able to cater for every possible permutation
so that the enclosure is not accessible to children.
Certikin offers a free site survey. Installation is optional to give full peace of mind, or supply only and provide guidance should it be preferred.

doors and separate fly-screen doors to keep out insects when doors are opened. The enclosures are constructed on site and take a greater time to complete allowing for more attention to detail. As they are constructed on site, there are no issues with access or location. Full planning and building regulations are taken care of and all projects are managed to ensure customer satisfaction. Large span enclosures are possible too and incorporating walls and buildings is no problem as they use glulam beam goalposts to enable a central or off centre beam to offer greater flexibility in choice. For those with smaller budgets Telescopic Pool Enclosures have other low mid height and high enclosures, with Spa & Hot Tub Enclosures, Retractable Garden Rooms and Pool Decks, there’s something for all purposes and pockets.
The Low Enclosures that the company offers are the lowest on the market and are amongst the few that are available with interlocking sections – so large to smallest or smallest to large – and there are no gaps when closed thanks to a neoprene skirt. The enclosures are available in tracked or untracked models, although tracked is recommend if they are motorised, and are glazed with clear solid or minimum 8mm twin walled polycarbonate. Telescopic Pool Enclosures offer long guarantees with 15 years on glazing and ten years on installation and product (excluding motorisation).
CERTIKIN’S NEW ENCLOSURE OPTIONS ARE ENDLESS
Certikin is now able to offer a more extensive range of pool and spa enclosures than ever before, thanks to its new partnership with leading enclosure designer and manufacturer, Aqua Comet. In addition, the brand new Endless Summer range of high quality, custom-made enclosures includes fixed models (with opening side windows) and various telescopic options.
Every possible permutation is catered for including low level, high level, lean to, fixed and sliding options. One of the most popular ranges is the Galaxy, which is fixed with sliding windows and comes in three different designs. A unique feature is the so-called ‘Iris’ end – an optional extra which is rounded in shape and has wide opening doors. The Orion is another stunning range that offers telescopic opening and closing without railings through the use of an extremely strong yet visually light-appearing structure. Aesthetically elegant, the enclosures are aluminium in structure with twin skinned polycarbonate walls. Any RAL colour is available including a unique wood style finish which allows the enclosure to blend into its natural environment. The enclosures are suitable for many applications (both commercial and domestic) and not just swimming pools and spas – indeed they can offer an outside ‘living’ room for any use. The easy to handle sliding doors can be locked
Low Level Telescopic Pool
Enclosures such as this one from Arch Enclosures are becoming more and more popular for those wanting to extend the swimming season
Although Arch full height enclosures start from 5m wide, the company is known for their larger enclosures up to 23m wide (16ft – 82ft) and any length. To accommodate these larger widths they have five different structural arch designs. It is not a case of ‘one size fits all’. They have been structurally designed taking into account wind and snow loadings and weather conditions we are likely to have in this country. The size of the profile used is governed by the width required. Their largest arch allows for a 23m wide enclosure. The calculations for each individual enclosure are provided for building regulation approvals. Rails provide stability and smooth operation. However this is not enough to prevent an enclosure being blown off the rails in a high wind.
For telescopic enclosures, Arch Enclosures can link several mobile vaults together thus reducing the number of vaults and the number of ground rails. This is important as each mobile vault telescopes into the next. Therefore with many moving vaults the height and width of the enclosure is reduced. The more vaults the lower the head height. The Super Flat Telescopic Enclosure from Arch Enclosures is a modern solution for those looking for a non-obtrusive, elegant and stunning looking cover, but still providing complete safety. And, is an easy retrofit. A four vault cover is only 0.52m high. Clear polycarbonate glazing adds to the ambience at night when the pool lights are on. Extended rails allow the cover to be telescoped completely clear of the pool and it is installed on super flat 12mm rails. The arrest system allows the segments to
