ENCLOSURES

Eye Catching Pool And Tub Enhancing Enclosures

Although Arch full height enclosures start from 5m wide, the company is known for their larger enclosures up to 23m wide (16ft – 82ft) and any length

Providing all year round swimming, regardless of the unpredictable UK weather, a pool enclosure reduces both maintenance and running costs for commercial and domestic pool owners plus it adds safety too. There’s no doubt that having an enclosure is an investment, but having one means owners can maximise the full potential of their swimming pool. From the big to the small and to suit any size and shape of pool, we take a look at the options that are available to cover up

By Karen Witney

espoke or budget, pool enclosures are a sure-fire way of extending the season, reducing running costs, preventing kids or animals from entering the pool whilst unsupervised and generally adding to the whole pool fun concept. Enclosures have evolved hugely since they first came onto the UK market and can be fixed, telescopic or attached to existing walls. Hot tub owners are also opting for enclosures rather than gazebos to enable them to star gaze whilst soaking. Available in many shapes and sizes these good looking cover-ups are just the thing for our sadly short British summertime and with workable guarantees plus full installation services, pool and hot tub owners, both residential and commercial, will be over the moon that you showed them exactly how to take cover.

ENCLOSURES DESIGNED FOR THE UK CLIMATE Telescopic Pool Enclosures have been installing bespoke retractable and fixed enclosures in both high and low options on residential pools, commercial pools and spas since 1991 and to date, have provided hundreds of installations throughout the UK. The company offer a wide range of exclusive products from Europe and have both high buildings and low retractable enclosures that can be motorised and are unique in the UK. All are made to measure and unlike most standard sizes that are available, the large enclosures are designed for the UK climate with a proper glazing system (the only one in the UK) to allow for a gasket and pressure bead so all glazing can be easily replaced if need be. This is unlike

other enclosures offered that have their glazing held within a trench in the aluminium extrusion so that if it should discolour or break, replacement can be quite difficult, if at all. With a wide range of possibilities, the enclosures can be single or double glazed with many roof options in 16mm triple walled polycarbonate such as Solar Reflective or tinted or if preferred, glass, allowing far greater use with improved insulation and less issues with condensation misting. Being bespoke, the enclosures may have different combinations of fixed or retractable sections that are offered in any RAL colour (not fluoresce or metallic) and options include self cleaning glass, double glazed with solar reflective glass, tinted, patterned or clear with door options as sliding, bi-fold
