TILED SPAS & SWIM SPAS

This popular curved-end swim spa from Cheshire Wellness provides timeless elegance and is a huge success in mainland Europe

At Cheshire Wellness, they have a few firm favourites. Their most popular curved-end swim spa provides timeless elegance and is a huge success in mainland Europe. Another stunning design is the ‘infinity spa’, finished in large format natural stone and mosaic combination. They recently completed a great renovation project for one of their national clients, replacing a leaking acrylic spa with a new bespoke mosaic tiled spa. It’s amazing the difference a fresh tiling design can bring to a spa. As they are able to create all of their prefabricated spas at their factory, this meant that no building works were required on site for the client, with no interruptions for their clients’ use of the facilities.

In terms of latest technologies, they’re a fan of the River Jets in swim spas, a market alternative to the Endless Pool option. The River Jets look more compact in the swim spa and complements the aesthetics of their designs.

CERTIKIN SPA GRABS ALL THE HEADLINES AT THE HEADLAND!

CASE STUDY:

Overlooking Fistral Beach in picturesque Newquay, The Headland Hotel has earned itself a reputation for being a haven of calm and tranquility, bordered as it is by the soothing sight of the Atlantic Ocean. It is this quality that the owners wanted to capture when it came to the refurbishment of its existing pool with the addition of an impressive wellness suite.

The hotel turned to the services of specialist pool builders of over 13 years standing in the South West, Apex Pool Engineers Ltd of Goonhavern and it was they who recommended the highly sought-after Tranquillity Wellness range from Certikin.

Every detail was considered to ensure maximum relaxation and pampering and included was a 3m diameter overflow tiled one-piece spa with double clusters of jets and air were all duly installed in time for a grand opening late spring.

Paul Heather of Apex Engineers said: “This is the first time that we have installed the Certikin one-piece tiled spa and it went in like a dream. Throughout the whole project, we worked closely with Certikin’s Commercial division, and in particular Steve Nelson. He was first class in his recommendation of equipment and advice with any installation issues.”
