King of Prussia - Lisa Karl has been named Director of Sales of the soon-to-be opened Sheraton Valley Forge. Previously, she was with the Crowne Plaza brand, representing Harrisburg, then Philadelphia, and for the past eight years, Valley Forge.


Malvern - The Desmond has added Chef Chris Calhoun as its new Food and Beverage Director, to be responsible for not only the food, but also service in both the hotel's · la carte and banquet operations.


Philadelphia - Sarah Fuller has joined CORT Event Furnishings as their new Account Executive.


Philadelphia - The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) announced that Lucy MacNichol has joined the organization as Senior Content Development Manager/Editor.

Alexandria - Precision Meetings and Events has announced that Tina Wehmeir will join the company as its new President, bringing more than 20 years of management and marketing experience within the hospitality industry to the position.


Fairfax - Crestline Hotels and Resorts, Inc. recently named Marc Fournier as the General Manager for The Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel.


Fairfax - J. Spargo and Associates announced the appointment of Kristin Gibson to Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Industry Relations. For the past seven years, she had led the Disney Destinations office as national sales director.


Hot Springs - The Homestead has named Tim Bugas as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. Bugas spent part of his early career at The Homestead and upon returning will oversee all sales and marketing efforts at this historic resort.
