April 11, 2012 Malvern, Pa - The 11th Annual Chester County CVB’s Showcase and Fashion Show for Meeting and Event Planners hosted 25 exhibitors and 100 plus meeting planners for an exciting evening show- case at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center.
Mike Lyons from The Hub emceed the Seminar portion beginning with an informative discussion on event indus- try trends during the seminar “What’s Working and What’s Not”. Panelists Shira Baumstein from SEI, Dawn Dowling from The Brandywine River Museum, and Chef Chris Calhoun from The Desmond gave insight into cur- rent events and upcoming changes based on their expe- riences.
The Chester County Showcase fuses the seminar por- tion and exhibition of hotels and event venues with an annual fashion show.
The Philadelphia Premium
Outlets® “From Corporate to Couture” Fashion Show featured outfits from several of their upscale designer stores modeled by planners and exhibitors from exhibit- ing companies and corporations such as Entertainment Cruises, American Helicopter Museum, Sheraton Great Valley, Harrah’s Casino Philadelphia, AGI, Philadelphia Event Planners, SEI, Vanguard and others. All outfits were styled by Keri Branch, Assistant General Manager at the Outlets.
Other sponsors included Choice Party Linens, Victory Brewing Company, Kruetz Creek Winery and Mid- Atlantic Events Magazine.
