Dover - Christopher Guidone was recently named Tourism Development Leader for Meetings and Conventions at the Delaware Tourism Office.
Dover - David Arthur has been named Executive Director for the Delaware Sports Commission. Formerly the Director of Marketing and Community Relations for the Wilmington Blue Rocks minor league baseball organization, Arthur also has worked directly with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) on sports-related programs.
KENTUCKY
Louisville - The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau has named Kat Gallagher to the position of Communications Manager with a specialty in Conventions and Meetings.
NEW JERSEY
Atlantic City -SMG has announced management pro- motions at the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall. Greg Tesone, General Manager of the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall for SMG, will assume day-to-day oversight responsibilities for both facilities. Michael Campo has been promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Atlantic City Convention Center, where he will be responsible for managing events and facility operations for the building. Also, Maggie Santos has been pro- moted to Director of Event Services for the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Atlantic City - The New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has named Kim Butler as its Director of Communications. Previously she had been general manager of the Tanger Outlets/The Walk, also in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City - The Atlantic City Alliance recently announced that it has assembled its core team, appointing Jeff Guaracino as their new Chief Strategy and Communications Officer, Judi Ludovico as Chief Entertainment Officer, and Christine Spencer as Chief Marketing Officer.
New Brunswick - Karl Chase has been named as Director of Sales and Marketing, and Stacy Martin as General Manager for The Heldrich Hotel and Conference Center.
NORTH CAROLINA
Asheville - The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the selection of Stephanie Pace Brown as Senior Vice President and Executive Director for the Asheville Convention and Visitors Bureau. She previously served as president and CEO for the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association in Alexandria, VA, and prior to that, Brown directed mar- keting and public affairs efforts for Mount Vernon.
Greensboro - The Greensboro Area Convention and Visitors Bureau announced that it has appointed Amy Scott as its new Director of Marketing.
