Association

International (DMAI) in Washington, DC produces Destination Showcase Conference and Expos, unique, one-day shows that

feature an exhibit hall com-

prised exclusively of destination market- ing organizations (DMOs) and meetings industry associations.

“We’re really about making it easy for meeting planners to find destinations that best fit their group’s needs,” said Brady Lutsko, marketing consultant for DMAI. “We know how valuable everyone’s time is with today’s busy schedules. In just a sin- gle day away from the office, meeting pro- fessionals can attend breakout sessions, earn up to 3.5 Certified Meeting Planner credits, and visit with representatives of nearly 200 meeting destinations.”

DMAI’s exhibiting meeting destinations are from across the United States and beyond, and are geographically arranged in the exhibit hall. Nearly 1,000 attendees

“Compelling educational content is cer- tainly an important part of attracting meeting professionals to Destinations Showcase,” said Lutsko. “We monitor trends in the industry and regularly survey our attendees. This allows us to deliver new sessions on topics that are of most interest to our audience each year.”
