“Our 75,000-square foot exhibit hall seems to thrive with trade shows that feel lost in larger convention centers,” said Lynch. “Our facility makes smaller events feel big... and it doesn’t hurt when your back- drop is the Atlantic Ocean.”
So far in 2012, the Wildwoods Convention Center has hosted 13 trade shows with an attendance of 30,500.
The recently expanded Pennsylvania
Convention Center in Philadelphia is home to one million-square feet of saleable space. In preparation for the opening of its expanded facilities in March 2011, the Pennsylvania Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) hired Kevin Richards as its national director for trade shows, with a mission to attract more national trade shows to the expanded convention center.

As the 14th largest convention center in the U.S., the Pennsylvania Convention Center boasts 528,000-square feet of con- tiguous exhibit space, 79 flexible meeting rooms and a 23,400-square foot pre-func- tion space with an incredible view of City Hall. It has two ballrooms, including the new 55,400-square foot Terrace Ballroom, which is the largest on the East Coast. State-of-the-art technology, digital signage, smart rooms and an on site staff of profes- sionals help to make events here seam- less.
With 10,700 hotel rooms within a 10- minute drive of the expanded convention center, attendees can easily find conven- ient accommodations.

Philadelphia boasts a diverse restaurant selection and numerous arts, cultural and historic attractions, as well.
To retain trade show business year after year, the PCVB works closely with cus- tomers to drive attendance to meetings and conventions. Their award-winning convention services team offers assis- tance with site inspections, destination promotion, housing services, registration staffing and on site concierge services.
Marketing communications assistance increases attendance and visibility, and electronic communications vehicles help spread the message of meetings coming to Philadelphia.
