Pico XAL

Mira 2 EMFA

The Mira 2 by luminaire by EMFA is finished in 4mm marine grade polished stainless steel and the die cast alumin- ium body and silicon gasket combine to ensure an IP 6798 rating. Fully adjust- able to illuminate either horizontally or vertically, the power LED fitting provides energy efficient light output and the body of the luminaire is manu- factured to withstand the elements. Completed by a double layered glass diffuser (impact resistant to 25 joule) the luminaire has an adjustable range of 0-47.5o. www.emfa.co.uk

Sophisticated minimalism at its best: XAL’s Pico is all about the perfect form for its purpose. Nothing more than a lu- minaire that wants to put the subjects it illuminates into focus, and nothing less than an LED powerhouse, capable of providing amazing lighting solutions. Especially developed for showcases, the ultra-slim rounded aluminium profile, natural or black anodised, with up to 12 LEDs at a maximum luminous flux of 984lm (depending on the model) delivers a homogeneous and brilliant illumination. Colour temperatures from 2700 to 6000K are available. www.xal.com

EcoSpec Floodlight Wash EcoSense

EcoSense EcoSpec Floodlight Wash is an ultra-bright LED indoor/outdoor white light architectural fixture. Made of robust cast aluminum, this fixture features powerful LEDs and precision constant current circuits for long-life. This fixture connects directly to AC power, simplifying installation and minimising costs and the advanced on- board driver is dimmable through line voltage incandescent or ELV dimmers. EcoSpec Floodlight Wash utilises a reli- able Gore valve for moisture control within the fixture and its optical lenses are field interchangeable for complete versatility. www.ecosenselighting.com

IP Rated Optics Carclo Technical Plastics

600 x 600 LED Endo

Shown at ARC for the first time this year was a 600 x 600 fluorescent replacement LED ceiling unit from Japanese manufacturer Endo. The 45W fitting has two LED modules each with a white reflector and dif- fusing cover, delivering a total lumen output of 3967 at 4000K CRI 85. Crescent are exclusive distributors for Endo in the UK, and this product is part of a range of similar products with a variety of mounting options that will be launched in Europe later in 2012. www.endo-lighting.com

Carclo has developed optics that can be effectively integrated into IP rated systems to provide protection for the LED components underneath without impairing the optic’s performance. Features include: a cylindrical side-wall around the inner optic to provide the necessary barrier; a suitable mounting platform at the base of the side-wall; kinematic pegs on the underside of the optic to ensure accurate alignment to the LED; and high continuous tempera- ture operation up to 125ºC. www.carclo-optics.com
