Norr Arturo Alvarez

Cone

Wever & Ducré A classic shape with a fresh twist, Cone is not only a remarkable luminaire in its own right; it also showcases the re-invention process Wever & Ducré has undergone recently: still based on a rich tradition, but re-inspired by new techno- logical possibilities. 4W warm white 3000K LEDs are embedded within the cone to produce a stylish, contemporary look. www.wever-ducre.com

Norr lamp was inspired by Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm’s Scandinavian roots. The wool and wood create a warm and cozy aesthetic that begs to be touched. “I wanted to create a lamp that would feel like a piece of furniture in itself and that can be interacted with,” she says. “The handle urges you to move the lamp around to wherever it is mostly needed.” www.arturo-alvarez.com

Torch Light Established & Sons

Torch Light, owes elements of its form to the typical torch and car headlight. PVC dipped polymer gives a tactile fin- ish, referencing the handheld nature of a torch, whilst light shines through a clear, diamond textured polycarbonate diffuser (akin to the textured glass of a car headlight) creating an ambient light. Torch Light is available in a range of sizes, including a new 500mm diameter version. www.establishedandsons.com

Array Refer + Staer

Array consists of an angled base and eight pendants: matt acrylic rods fitted with recessed LED lights. Together they provide a calm, diffused light. www.refer-staer.dk

Sampei Davide Groppi

Sampei is available as an indoor or outdoor luminaire in a choice of four heights (230, 260, 290 or 440 cm) in either white or black. Designed by Enzo Calabrese and Davide Groppi, it fulfills the role of both floor and suspended pendant light, with adjustable beam angles of 0°, 10° and 20°. www.davidegroppi.com
