Students in the University of Richmond Law School’s Cambridge program live and study in Emmanuel College. Students may take up to three courses (six semester hours) from five offered courses, most of which are taught by Cambridge University law faculty. Partici- pants in the program reside, dine, and attend classes in Emmanuel College facilities.
In 2011, the program included JD students from Cumberland, Chapman University, Loy- ola University New Orleans, Florida Coastal, and Cumberland’s Master of Comparative Law program. Most MCL candidates are Bra- zilian judges. Interaction with international judges and lawyers enhances the experience.
The Summer Program in Turkey gives students an international view of legal issues relevant to Turkey, Central Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on the social and political developments in those regions, including human rights, environment, and se- curity issues. The program includes weekend excursions to Ankara and Cappadocia as well as to Ephesus and the Aegean Sea.
