Spearheaded by Georgetown Law, the Center for Transnational Legal Studies is a London-based partnership of over twenty of the world’s leading law faculties. Students and faculty from five continents explore transnational legal issues in a unique setting without any “host school,” “domestic jurisdiction,” or “majority nationality.” The initiative is premised on a belief that, as legal practice becomes increasingly “transnational,” the best legal education must include exposure to ideas, faculty, and fellow students from many different legal systems.
