Most third-party developers begin life from within established software companies - what's been the journey of your company - what was the most influential factor in making the change and what's been your biggest success to date? Have you found what you were looking for?


Scott Smith - Next Gen Gaming: “Our company was started from scratch, however, we drew our talent from established gaming markets.”


Justin Chamberlain - Betlow: “Your initial statement is true to us and the influencing factor in moving into games development was a) financial, b) a fun, growing and highly creative industry to work. Our biggest success to date was our Reverse Auction software platform that we built and went on to licence to multiple media, gaming and social sites globally from 2005 through to 2008.”

Gaming and according to his experience good quality slots were key to their success. He always admired the quality of an Argentinean company called ID Interactive. For a short and interesting period, I was the Project Manager of that company. After my departure from ID Interactive, Daniel and I established contact and decided to focus on what he considered to be a key factor leading to his previous success: building great slot games.

Jaydeep Chakravartty - Cozy Games: “Cozy was founded by Sreeram Reddy who started his career with Party Gaming in 2001. The team at Party Gaming was very small that time and Sree played a key role in the growth of Party Gaming. In 2004, Sree left Party Gaming to open Cozy Games. At that time there was not many companies focusing on the Bingo Sector. Cozy Games saw an opportunity in the bingo space. This is one of the most influential factors that helped Cozy Games to develop as a gaming solutions provider.


Again in 2007, Cozy Games saw an opportunity in the mobile space and invested heavily in creating IP. Initially, the focus was on Java technology;
