Kajot had one of the largest stands at the show with plenty of VLTs on display. The universe is their oyster with the aptly named Star Games and Planet Games. Kajot offers machines in euro denominations, which is important in a country that borders several euro countries. In particular casinos on the Austrian and German border are very popular.
Auto Games is a manufacturer of both VLTs and AWPs and reports to operate between 5,000 and 6,000 VLTs in the Czech Republic. APK Soft, alias Apollo Games, reported a great show thanks to their new game, Blood. Vampires seem to be everywhere at the moment. APK Soft manufactures its own cabinets and creates its own games.

Jamp is Barcrest’s distributor for Czech and the lines of Tripe Seven VLTs looked impressive at Forbes. E-gaming is also a strong contender in the Czech VLT market. Adell Trading was exhibiting for the first time, previously having belonged to the APEX gaming group of companies, showing a combination of APEX VLTs and their own machines. ACT from Austria was also present with a stand showing their product range and MOD Elektronik is a company that has integrated a banknote recycler into their VLT. Forbes Game were showing VLTs with games from Playtech – Incredible Hulk and Gladiator, while APEX gaming’s slant-top Pinnacle SL is now certified as a VLT for Czech and could be seen on numerous stands at the Forbes exhibition.
lower expectations AWPs are no longer the dominant game in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, they continue to play an important role in Czech gaming. Conservative players, those who prefer lower stakes, will always choose AWPs over VLTs, despite the fact that low stakes can be also played on VLTs. The new VLT state government ruling may, however, see a resurgence of the AWP market in the Czech Republic.
Synot covers the AWP base with its strong partnership with JPM. The new video Max Power is the latest in a business relationship that dates back 20 years.
