Bally’s G2e thriller

Bally Technologies launched two major branded IP titles at G2E, showed the amazing versatility of its iDeck and unveiled its new mobile Apps range

Bally Technologies is unique in being a US manufacturer that hasn't grown its gaming portfolio on the back of licensed brands. The company's major hits are all in-house titles, Fireball, Vegas Hits, Cash Spin, Hot Spin, etc., are all home grown, so it was interesting to play a branded Bally game at G2E in Las Vegas that wasn’t a PlayBoy or own brand title.

Completing the experience, Bally has incorporated a new surround sound chair that envelopes players in the music of their favourite artist, increasing both the entertainment factor and time on the device. “There’s a significant walk-by factor to the new Michael Jackson King of Pop, and a real drama created by the combination of the cabinet, surround

sound chair and use of video and music," stated Bally's Andres Chacon at G2E. "It's our flagship game for G2E and a title that really shows the CPU power of the new ALPHA 2 Pro Series platform. Multiple banks of this game build excitement across the entire floor and provide their own theatre within any location."

Speaking to a totally different audience, but again with a licensed brand, Grease is another high-end concept from Bally that delivers real impact on the floor. From its iconic 50's car rear, Hammerhead V22 screen, U-Spin technology and wonderful graphic flourishes, such as the flipping of the high school yearbook pages,
