The Kyrgyzstan government has passed measures to ban casino gaming in the country
The Kyrgyzstan parliament has outlawed casinos and slot machine facilities, adopting a bill to ban gambling in the territory of the republic. The ban on gambling establishments comes into force on January 1, 2012. The bill was supported by 105 MPs, one voted against and one abstained from voting. The document is now to be signed by the interim president of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbayeva.
The initiative to ban casinos in Kyrgyzstan was put forward by MP representing Ar-Namys ("Dignity") opposition party Bakytbek Dzhetigenov. Criticism of gambling business was endorsed by Ms. Otunbayeva. The head of the republic stressed that casinos had a ‘detrimental effect on the entire society.’ However, she acknowledged that the ban on gambling establishments will not eliminate them, but rather force them underground (in this regard, she stated that it would be enough to tighten the rules for their operation). Shuffle Master agrees OpenBet games deal
Shuffle Master and OpenBet have entered into an Internet Software License Agreement. Under the agreement, OpenBet will provide online games based on some of Shuffle Master’s most popular proprietary table games to Canada’s legalised online gaming sites, including Loto- Québec and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

Under the agreement with Shuffle Master, OpenBet will be offering licensed games based on Shuffle Master's Three Card Poker, the most popular speciality game of all time, as well as Casino War and Fortune Pai Gow Poker.
