Assessment: The Advanced Diploma is assessed through exams and coursework. BTECs are 100% coursework and involve a variety of study activities and assignments which relate learning to real life issues and vocational areas.
You will be expected to study GCSE English and/ or Maths if you have not yet attained a grade C or higher in these important qualifi cations.
Requirements: 2 GCSEs at Grade E for a course including BTECs and GCSEs. 2 GCSEs at grade D for a course consisting of GCSEs only.
Students choose a course worth 4 to 6 GCSE equivalence.
