The Product Design course follows naturally from GCSE courses in Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials and other similar courses. In studying Product Design you will use a wide range of skills including graphic communications, the designing and making of artefacts, product analysis, technological systems and control. You are encouraged to take a fl exible approach to developing your own skills and interests, with a clear emphasis on designing and making your own artefacts.

DESIGN
Design Technology (Product Design) can combine with a wide range of other subjects and there are many career opportunities, including aeronautical, mechanical, electronic and engineering degree courses. Alternatively, if you have graphical communications skills you can follow higher education courses in product design, architecture and other creative subjects.
