Your Guidance Support Tutor (GST) will supervise your well being and development throughout your time at college. You will meet them twice a week at tutorials, but they are also available for you to drop in and see them in the Guidance Support Centre. You will have group tutorials addressing personal, social and health issues, as well as one-to-one meetings to discuss your academic and general progress.
A large part of the tutorial programme is devoted to Careers and Higher Education information, advice and guidance. Your GST will help you with job or university applications and will write a reference for you. Our guidance support programme works in partnership with parents to ensure that you achieve your potential.

The College Library is a pleasant and welcoming environment where you can access a wide range of resources to support your studies including textbooks, DVDs, daily newspapers, journals and magazines.
Computers are also provided along with scanning and printing facilities. The library is split into different areas allowing you to either study on your own or with your friends.
Whether you know exactly what you want to do after college or whether you are still undecided, our Careers Specialist and Connexions Careers Advisers can help you plan your future. They offer a variety of services including careers interviews, support with higher education applications, mock interviews and fi nding work placements. Drop into the Guidance Support Centre to make an appointment or to speak to our Careers Specialist.
