As the heady scent of the Azalea Luteum faeds, the real stars of our gardens appear – the Cornus Kousa Chinensis. Their magnificent white bracts are breathtaking, but seen in an avenue, like the one in the walled garden, is a sheer joy to behold.
The vegetable garden is now
planted up, the soft fruit looks set to provide a bumper harvest again this year. The herbaceous border is just starting to show colour so look out for the oriental poppies and small irises.
