If you’re a caravanner, boater, motorcaravanner or a trucker and you use a directional aerial to receive TV signals, you’ll know that pointing the aerial in the right direction is essential if you’re going to get a decent picture. With digital TV, accurate set-up is even more important; aiming the aerial just a few degrees out can result in no picture at all.
This new signal finder solves the problem. Just connect the aerial lead to the finder and turn the aerial until the LEDs on the display light up. The more LEDs are lit, the stronger the signal. Then connect the aerial lead to the TV, turn on, tune in and sit back to watch perfect pictures every time.
Please note that this is not just a converted satellite signal- finder. It’s made in England by a
leading U.K. electronics company and, unlike some cheaper units we have tested, it actually works!! In fact, if you find that it doesn’t work for you, send it back and we’ll refund the cost of the unit.
The signal-finder works with any directional TV aerial but, of course, the better the aerial, the better the signal will be. If you’re using an inefficient aerial, you may well find that you can’t get a good signal and, in such a case, the signal-finder won’t help. For best results, we strongly advise the use of our log-periodic aerial D1414.

Glomex is one of Italy’s leading manufacturers of communications and TV reception equipment for the marine market. They also make some products especially for landlubbers including these omni-directional aerials.
Although they can’t perform as well as directional aerials such as our log-periodic unit, as long as there’s a reasonable signal in the area, they work as well as or even better than similar aerials from other manufacturers.

As with all aerials of this type, we strongly suggest getting them as high as possible to ensure the best possible reception.
This 1.65 metre mast is designed to go through the roof of a vehicle or boat (usually mounted in a cupboard) and enables the aerial on the top to be raised and - in the case of directional aerials - pointed for best reception.
