What’s New in 2011?
Almost every week we get sent information on new products which manufacturers would like to see in the RoadPro range. We always like to keep an eye on what’s available but we’ve only got so much room in our warehouse and even less room in our catalogue so the new things that we do take on have to be really good and, this year, that’s especially true.
Here are just some of the new products that we think are particularly interesting and we hope that you’ll think so too.
Camos have been very busy developing a whole new range of satellite TV systems which have some really
models and new folding systems with class-leading technical features and at class-beating prices!
We have new s a t e l l i t e receivers too
from Zehnder and Denson including HD
accurate indication of your battery’s health of any monitor available. It uses an incredible amount of computing power to work out what’s going on inside a battery and, once seen in operation, if you’re serious about keeping an eye on your batteries, you’ll want one!
Of course, to get power into your battery, you have a wide choice of options. Solar power is more and more
unique features: sat-domes with auto-skew and GPS the space needed on your for maximum performance, compact automatic
vehicle’s or boat’s roof.
A solar panel usually has to be connected to a regulator and
we have a new range of these from Votronic with several advantages over conventional models. The range includes MPPT versions which increase the current fed into a battery by around 25% or even more.
Sterling Power have also been designing and producing new products but many of them will not be
models and ones which can record on to a USB available until the middle of 2011, too late to go into memory stick or hard drive. Our favourite incorporates every single feature that we can think of that could possibly be put into a 12V satellite receiver and you’ll find it on page 56.
this catalogue. However, we can send you a copy of the Sterling catalogue - just ask us.
When you’ve switched on your satellite system, you’ll need a TV to watch those hundreds of channels on and we have
new TVs as well which you can see on pages 64 & 65.
Whether you’re interested in satellite TV or not, if you spend time in a vehicle or a boat, you’re
probably sometimes dependent on a lead-acid battery for power. The more time we
spend with batteries the more fascinating we find them. On page 7 you will find a new range of batteries from Banner which we are certain are some of the best quality batteries you can buy.
When you have a battery you need to look after it and we have some great new products to help you do just that. CTEK have new DC-DC chargers, and we are delighted to introduce a new type of battery monitor from Merlin which we are confident gives the most
There are so many GPS sat-nav units available now that if you have a car, it’s almost impossible to decide which is the best one for you. If you have a truck, a motorhome or a caravan though, you may well want a device that takes into account the size and weight of your vehicle. This makes choosing a sat-nav much easier because
there aren’t that many that offer this option and, of the ones that do, models from Snooper & Camos are the clear winners! We have a range of different models.
If you’ve been thinking about getting a generator, we now stock the best you can get: the “briefcase” range from Honda. We’ve looked at other makes and models but, so far, we’ve found nothing to touch these for quietness, efficiency and
reliability (5-year warranty when used for leisure). And that’s just a few of our new products! You’ll see
many more - as well as lots of proven old favourites - in the following pages.
If there’s anything missing that you think we ought to stock, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
