CAMOS SAT-DOMES A new generation of sat-domes
The new, improved range of Camos sat-domes builds on RoadPro’s experience of these systems to bring you performance, ease of use and reliability not available in any other sat-dome.
There are static and in-motion models and various options for both. Static models can only be used while the vehicle is stationary although there are many units in use on inland boats. In most cases, Camos static sat-domes will work perfectly well when a boat is securely moored.
Two versions of static model are available: Mk3 & Mk4. Both models come in 30cm and 40cm versions but Mk4 versions incorporate auto-skew LNBs and GPS alignment. Mk3 units are the same in all other respects as the Mk4 models.
Automatic skewing (rotary adjustment) of the LNB make the Mk4 especially suitable if you’re travelling away from the centre of a satellite’s footprint - to Spain, Italy, Germany and even the far north of Scotland. By ensuring that the LNB is aligned as accurately as possible with the satellite, auto-skew can enable you to watch programmes which, with any other sat-
dome, would simply not be available without removing the dome’s
cover and making manual adjustments. UPGRADE OPTION:
Camos sat-dome features: If you buy a Mk3 sat-dome and decide later
that you want the additional benefits of auto-
skew and GPS, we can supply an upgrade kit which will transform a Mk3 sat-dome into a Mk4.
