Based on the Camos PAPSA, this is a low-cost, light-weight, easy to use, fixed satellite TV system that’s ideal when operating space is at a premium. Suitable for boats, caravans and motorhomes, the Camos SkySearcher uses the quiet, reliable mechanism of the PAPSA, a planar “dish” and the Camos “Multisat” controller which enables the system to search for up to 10 different satellites. It’s fully automatic in operation and can be used all over Europe. Of course, as with any satellite system, the channels that you can get will vary according to where you are and what receiver you are using.

CAMOS PAPSA PORTABLE SATELLITE SYSTEM
The PAPSA from Camos brings fully automatic operation to a portable system which can be easily moved around and then stowed when not required. It uses suction feet to fix securely to any flat, smooth surface or it can simply be placed on the ground. A single cable connects it to a controller and any satellite receiver. Once it’s been set up, operating the system involves simply switching it on and sitting back. It’s got impressive performance too, picking up British TV all over France and into Spain.
PAPSA is available in three configurations. The “SINGLE” model is programmed to look only for the Astra 2 & Eurobird satellites at 28.2° east of south. These are the satellites that British TV and radio stations are broadcast on.
The “PLUS” model can search for up to 10 satellites and has a control panel in its base.
The “PRO” model comes with a “multi-sat controller” for remote operation and will search for any of up to 10 satellites including Hotbird and Astra 1 as well as Astra 2, giving access to hundreds of channels from all over Europe and beyond.
