n Friday 18th. June 2010 President Brian and his wife Jan, accompanied by


Rotarian Dennis Bragg and his wife Eileen, Rotarian Colin Davies, and his wife Carol Club, Secretary Geoff Furzland and his wife Gerrie, together with the Havering Inner Wheel President Pat King and the Incoming President Janet Larkey, attended the Ravensbourne School‟s open day.


W


e were all invited to see the results of the fund raising activities of the past


year and I must say the results were magnificent as you can see from the photographs. The fund raising was impressive but even more so was the amount of hard work and effort put in by the volunteers. This had to be seen to be believed. Our own Geoff Furzland and his wife Gerrie, a Governor of the school, together with a number of young people from the Prince‟s Trust, had been working extremely hard to get the garden and flower beds in good order and a very good job they did too.

he money was raised by various means and activities which included bungee


jumping by one of the parents, quiz nights and dinner dances.
