would like to thank all the club members, family members and


most important all our doctors and nurses who made the day go so well. We checked 182 people with 21% referred to their GP. This may seem high but it appears to be about the average according to the info.


provided by the Stroke Association. We had three Club Doctors plus two Nurses and we needed all of them at the start to deal with the rush.


e must thank Jan and Ann who took care of the admin side which, due to the


requirements of the Stroke Association, has become quite complicated. I have now completed the necessary evaluation form and returned these together with all the other paperwork.


any thanks to George for taking the old lady to Queens. We have been unable to


trace her details and are unable to check on the outcome of her visit to A & E, but I am sure she will be OK.
