Winner The Raffle Master Wins

t had to happen eventually, the King won the raffle.
know that the odds are stacked against most of us who's fate re. having your raffle ticket
put in the jar is precariously balanced but lets be honest the prize could not have gone to a nicer bloke.
W S
hat a shame that we were short of members for our AGM. Those
absentees missed the 'blur' of the year as the King raced from his seat ,as soon as his num- ber was read out ,to claim his gift token which only moments before he had passed over to President Brian.

I I
n his defence ,he was so excited and exhausted by his efforts he didn't have the
energy to do anything but sink back into his chair.
n all seriousness all members agree the prize could not go to a more deserving club
member ( I had to say that otherwise there was no chance ever again of getting my ticket into the glass).
N

small but perfectly formed) for his efforts in running the weekly raffle because over the years it has raised a lot of money for the club.
