Cheque Presentation To
Little Havens O
n Thursday 29th. April,
Angela Clements from the Little Havens Children‟s Hospice, visited our club but due to a very busy schedule she was unable to stay for lunch. She did, however, go away with a cheque for £1,000 which was presented by Rotarian Ray Needham and President Brian Taffs.
T
he money was part
of the proceeds raised at our annual Race Night which was held in January of this year. Angela thanked the club for it's generosity and efforts, and
pointed out that in the past few years we had donated some £9,000 to Little Havens.

Below photos from the Charity Race Evening and previous April edition of the BULL hopefully, to remind fellow members of the effort and hard work Rotarians put into raising funds for local charities in need
Rotarians & friends assembled earlier in the year for a night at the races to raise funds for many charities. Including the
Little Havens Children‟s Hospice (above). The event was generously sponsored by Gieves & Hawkes of Seville Row, local busi-
nesses, Rotarians, families & friends, and apart from the work effort we all enjoyed an evening of fellowship and fun.
