Visit to Olympic Park Building Site 29th January 2010

fter having Speakers on the Waterways –


Canals and a New Lock (April 2009) and on overall progress (November 2009) I asked to go on the waiting list for a Club visit to the Olympic site, and was told on Monday, 25th January of a cancellation for four days later on the 29th and would we take it. Answer - yes - hence the hectic phoning and e-mailing.

riday, 29th Jan. was the day booked for our


Club visit to the Olympics 2012 Site.


28th and 30th were sunny and bright, so the 29th had heavy rain – so on the way to the station we got soaked ! However it was well worth it for the 24 of us who went.
