About Security
Security threats are more of a problem for today’s organizations than ever before. Not only are they increasing in sophistication and frequency, but they also have a whole host of targets: everything from traditional desktop PCs to smartphones and tablets to Web apps. Attackers use many of these gateways— and more—to gain access to your customer’s mission-critical information
PC Connection prides itself on its ability to help you identify and prioritize your critical risks. This is accomplished through industry leading security assessment and testing services, as well as through analysis and advice on strengthening your security policies and process. Ultimately, we want to become a trusted security advisor, helping customer’s structure a program to manage their policies, controls, and compliancy requirements. This includes industry leading Managed Security Service offerings to aid them in keeping risk at an acceptable level—day after day.

ADVICE STEPHEN HAS FOR CUSTOMERS: The key to a healthy Security Program is to: Define and document your security requirements, policies, and controls
Build a risk governance program to monitor and manage where you stand, at any given moment in time, in complying with these policies and controls
Once the proper program and policies are in place, I recommend a managed security services strategy.
The most critical component of a strong security management strategy is the capability to both detect and swiftly react to security events, isolating them to prevent a “security epidemic.”
It is no longer a matter of if you will be compromised—you must assume that you already are, or soon will be compromised. If you miss a critical event that results in unauthorized access to a sensitive application, or exposes sensitive information outside your environment, you have missed the mark.
Managed Security Services ensure that day-over-day, month-over-month, and year-over- year, organizations know where they stand in relation to meeting their security controls.
