A: First, we can talk about organizational needs. In the past, the IT organization lived in their section of the building and understood what they thought the business needed. It’s now changing. The paradigm has shifted, and the business is now looking at how they need to run their organization, and it’s now truly a collaboration of the IT organization and the business. And then from there, we go to understanding what technology can be employed. A Network Assessment is a great place to start when planning a change to your strategy. Our assessment services enable us to look at a network from a basic inventory standpoint, to analyze the baseline and the performance and functionality, and to understand what an organization has in place today and what will be needed to move it to the next level.
Q: WHAT’S A TYPICAL IT TEAM GOING TO EXPERIENCE FROM A NETWORK ASSESSMENT WITH PC CONNECTION?
A: Usually we start just by asking, “What are your challenges?“ The first element of a Network Assessment is getting and attaining a
baseline. What does the network look like when it’s performing correctly? Then, when there’s an anomaly, what is the deviation there? What is happening in the environment? An additional layer on that is, how does your infrastructure need to grow? Once we understand where your network is right now, we can project where you need to go to, based on your current infrastructure.

A: For starters, we bring the breadth of experience in seeing how other organizations utilize the technology.
