Founded in 1961, today the SBF-VISA Group in Italy is one of the largest manufacturers of amusement rides and attractions.
The product line includes a wide range of equipment that appeals to all ages and budgets and covers all the familiar categories of children’s, family, major, thrill, custom, themed and gravity rides and attractions. The company’s in-house creative and engineering departments provide the imagination and knowledge to meet customer needs for any theme or specific requirement.
All products are designed, engineered and manufactured in the company’s family owned premises in Montagnana and Casale Di Scodosia in northern Italy and virtually the whole product range is available in either static or travelling models. And at the Montagnana headquarters premises, a showroom of over 5,000sq. m provides an impressive shop window for visitors to view a host of different products.
SBF-Visa’s production department manufactures the rides according to the highest European and American standards (DIN, TÜV, ASTM Norms) to ensure quality-built products that perform reliably and safely. Additionally, the services offered by SBF-VISA Group are comprehensive; purchasing a ride or attraction from the company does not just mean buying a product which has high entertainment value designed and manufactured to the most demanding international standards. New products
The company is committed to introducing innovative new attractions on a regular basis and has just launched the Time Machine (below left) and Zero Gravity (below) rides, with more to follow in the near future.
Following the success of SBF’s four-seater themed Sky Glider, a new version of the ride has been developed, the first version of which has now been delivered. This features double the capacity (eight seats) and a new theme – the Time Machine ride. Interactivity and competition between riders create the operation of the attraction’s two vehicles, with each one being equipped with four pedals. By pedalling, passengers will turn through 360 degrees and reach an exciting maximum height of 12m, experiencing a pleasant flying feeling.
Following the success of the old and well-known Rotor ride, SBF have created a new version of the attraction with Zero Gravity. Suitable for indoor and outdoor operation, the ride features transparent, polycarbonate walls, so that spectators can see the passengers inside. At a speed of 31 RPM, riders ‘stick like glue’ to the outer walls but are free to move and to turn upside-down if they choose.
