Park Games Equipment
Games is an ambitious company and in order to further expand its business and strengthen its position in the international market, the manufacturer is also working towards moving into markets such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other areas of the Middle East over the next year.
Park Games’ core business has always been the design and production of play structures. However, it has, over the years, added new product ranges, covering areas such as outdoor fitness, gym equipment and rope structures, which have provided new opportunities and seen the business expand quite substantially. Starting as a team of 10 in 1995, the company is now a team of 49 with three groups of full-time installers. Its ranges of commercial play structures and recreational furnishings are manufactured in compliance with the international standards of the American Society of Testing and Materials, German Technical Inspection Association EN:1176, Malaysian Safety Standards and the Quality System ISO 9001.
Established in 1995, Park Games Equipment’s vision since the very beginning has always been to provide and create nurturing play environments with high play value, using quality equipment, for the leisure industry and beyond.
Based out of Selangor in Malaysia, Park Games has seen the attractions and amusement industry elevate to new heights in a big way over recent years and in a much more fun way too; for example projects in its home market of Malaysia such as Kidzania and the Hello Kitty theme parks are bringing new concepts to the market, while serving different segments of the industry. At the same time, these latest projects are helping to put Malaysia on the map and build interest in the country as a desirable place for tourism and attractions. There is also the new Legoland theme park in Malaysia, due to open soon at Johor Iskander, which saw Park Games closely involved, designing and building within a very challenging timeline for a very specific theme.
While its domestic business is strong, Park Games is an international company and exports its products all over the world, from Australia to Japan to Singapore, as well as Bahrain, Oman, Thailand and the UAE. However, Park
Park Games continually invests in research and development in order to improve and create products that can be enjoyed by children of all ages, teenagers and adults and that are made to a high standard, are safe and more durable, while remaining innovative. The company has designed, supplied and installed thousands of items of outdoor and indoor children’s playground equipment, outdoor fitness and gym stations, skating ranges and park furnishings, to meet the requirements of property developers, architects, landscape architects and consultants, government and private recreational departments, parks, public and private schools, commercial and residential users.
One of its most recent innovations has been the VTX series and VTX independent items, comprising a futuristic design of challenging climbing activities for children aged seven to 14. The climbing challenges include a vertical net climber, triple twister and horizontal ladder, as well as a number of other challenges which increase body strength and stamina while aiding the development of good balance, body control and flexibility.
Park Games has worked extremely hard over the past 17 years to build a reputation as a world-class producer of play structures and equipment that are versatile and innovative. Moving forward, it plans to continue with this work, introducing and realising new ideas to take its business to the next level.
