Part of the Italian based Best Union Group, OmniTicket Network is a well established system developer, integrator and consultant specialising in turnkey solutions for ticketing, access control, reservations, pre-sales, internet sales, retail point-of-sale and inventory control operations. The company has offices in Italy, the US, the UK, Singapore and the UAE.
Products
Among the company’s latest products is the state-of-the-art ticketing technology, Best Overview Solution, a next-generation software product which provides a unique framework for managing all types of venue, in a multi-tier environment, with a built-in infrastructure for real time, worldwide ticket distribution.
The company is also enjoying increasing success with its Connect city-wide solution which allows visitors to purchase one ticket for use at multiple attractions of their choice in city areas.
Projects
OmniTicket’s involvement in a wide range of projects around the world continues apace with installations being completed at venues within many different sectors.
In Holland, for example, the company’s UK office has been working with the Floriade 2012 Horticultural Expo in Venlo for the past 12 months on a project that has seen the company supply the event with a system and associated equipment for ticketing, access control and internet ticketing. OmniTicket has provided 27 ticket sales stations, including group sales, cable car sales and walk-up sales, 24 wireless hand-held access control scanners, four automated turnstiles (for cable car access) and internet ticket sales. The event runs from April 5 to October 7.
The company’s UK office has also recently started hosting the online ticket sales for ‘TheView from The Shard’ viewing platform in London, the latest skyscraper to be completed in the UK capital and western Europe’s tallest building.
Another newly completed project for 2012, this time in the US, has been at the Splash Adventure Waterpark in Alabama. The park is now selling tickets using OmniTicket Network’s Overview ticketing system.
And staying in the US, the team at OmniTicket Network understands how important it is for clients to have quick and secure credit card processing that they can rely on. With this in mind, the company has recently developed and certified a new payment processing interface with Mercury Payment Systems. OmniTicket clients in the USA now have the option to process credit card payments within the Overview Ticketing System using Mercury Payment Systems’ MTo k e n (tokenisation) and E2E (end- to-end encryption) process to provide the highest level of security. This integrated solution supports credit, US debit, EBT, MercuryGift and FSA transactions.
