Golden Horse Amusement Equipment Company


The history of Golden Horse Amusement Equipment Company can be traced back to 1965. From that time until 1983 the predecessor to the company focused on machine tools and machinery. In 1983 Golden Horse was established with the aim of manufacturing amusement machines - the first in China.


According to the company, business in the first half of 2012 has been pleasing, with Golden Horse reporting a steady increase in sales, volume, quality and market share.


“The contractual volume is about 20 per cent more than the same period of last year,” the company said. “The latest projects we have just finished include Zhengzhou Fanta Wild Adventure, which opened on June 28, and Crazy Apple Land affiliated to Hangzhou Worldland, which opened on July 8.”


The Crazy Apple Land project totaled around RMB500m (US$79m), covering an area of about 30,000sq. m. Since its opening it has become the most popular FEC in China. Golden Horse was in charge of the master planning and design of the facility, as well as construction.


“Our most popular rides this year include, but are not limited to, the launch roller coaster, suspended roller coaster, chute ride and launch tower,” Golden Horse said. “The latest rides we have developed include the 56m twin launch tower, family coaster and 3D films.”


Golden Horse recently applied for TÜV certification and the company adheres to the China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute inspections.
