Sacoa

With more than 50 years of FEC operation in Argentina, back in the early ’90s Sacoa realised the need for a much better way to control its business, keep track of revenue, modify prices to compensate for inflation and avoid theft.

The solution the company came up with was to replace the traditional tokens with a computerised magnetic debit card system. The immediate 30 per cent rise in revenue after implementation lead to the system being installed at all the company’s FECs around the country in less than a year.

Sacoa’s Playcard® system soon started being exported to other countries and is currently in use in over 700 locations in over 50 countries all around the world.

The key factors related to Sacoa’s products that make them stand out from the competition can be summarised as follows:

Sacoa operates its own family entertainment centres in Argentina, thus their products are developed in-house with a true inside knowledge of the operator’s business and marketing needs.

The company is known for its outstanding performance and reliability as well as for its post-sale service and flexibility for product customisation, which accounts for the constant evolution and improvement of features.

The Playcard® system has been in use since 1993 and (according to Sacoa) is the most widely spread system in the world.

In addition to the Playcard® system, the company offers a full Redemption Inventory system, as well as other applications for CRM and Party Reservations and strong marketing tools designed to enhance customer loyalty.

Sacoa’s latest developments include two new online applications and the latest generation of HD ColorShot readers:
