production and sale of the front-wheel drive, four-speed gearbox and related parts and components. Te first stage of the construction project will cover 155 acres and be finished in July. In 2013, the company expects production to reach 240,000 units. During subsequent expansion projects, production of continuously variable transmission gearboxes and in-car navigation systems will be added. When completed, the facility will be capable of produc- ing 500,000 units per year. Aisin is one of the three largest gearbox makers in the world, and its automatic transmission gearbox and navigation system market shares were first in the world in 2010. Aisin operates China-based factories in Tangshan,
Hebei, and Taizhou, Zhejiang. Te former focuses on the production of gearboxes, the latter focuses on the produc- tion of oil pumps. ■

爱信为生产汽车零部件的国际知名企业，目前在河 北唐山以及浙江台州都建有工厂，其中唐山爱信主要 是以生产汽车变速箱为主，而台州爱信主要是以生产 机油泵为主，铝合金锭的月采购量都接近千吨。 ■
Large Aluminum Diecasting Company to Be Launched in Wuhan, China 武汉汽车产业再添大型铝压铸企业
In response to the growing automotive industry
in China, the government of the Caiduan District, Wuhan, China, signed a joint investment agreement with Zhejiang Ruiming Auto Part Co. Ltd. to invest $95 million to construct an aluminum diecasting company to propel the consumption of aluminum in Hubei. According to reports, Ruiming Group is a pro- ducer of large aluminum castings mainly for engine blocks, heads and other driveline components. It is a supplier for many domestic and international auto- motive companies. Hubei is the hub of central China, and in recent years, many big auto companies have invested in the region. When the diecasting plant is completed, the company expects its annual sales to reach more than $140 million, which will facilitate the competitiveness of the Caidian District’s auto industry. ■

本次瑞敏集团在湖北工厂达产后，预计年产值可 达到9亿元人民币，不仅带动未来湖北地区的铸造铝 消费，也将极大提升蔡甸区汽配产业竞争力。 ■
