What’s new?

The increasing demand for video capability on MP3 players has been fuelled by social networking sites and has led to some important innovations. Along with touchscreen technology, the displays on the latest products are much larger than on previous generations and screen resolution has also increased dramatically to cater for viewing high-definition downloads. Recent products have also benefited from new features such as a fun, karaoke mode on one manufacturer’s range, along with the inclusion of noise- cancelling technology and options for wireless headphones. ■
